MCWP Roundtables

Mediation Council of Western Pennsylvania hosts bimonthly roundtables on a variety of interesting mediation topics. Roundtables generally take place from 5:45-6:45 pm at the Leech Tishman offices located at 525 William Penn Place, 29th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
Roundtables are free to members and $20 for non-members, and generally provide attendees with 1 CLE credit.

6/19/17: Toward People Centered Peace in the 21st Century, led by Prabha Sankaranarayan (1 Substantive CLE Credit)
8/21/17: The Benefits and Perils of Using a Mediator with Subject Matter Expertise, led by Chip Dougherty (moderator), Fred Colen (panelist) and Paul Beck (panelist) (1 Substantive CLE Credit)
10/16/17: Elder Mediation, led by Jean Lupariello (1 Substantive CLE Credit)
12/18/17 (not yet confirmed): How Can Mediators Use Research in Neuro and Social Science to INform Their Process, led by Selina Shultz (1 Substantive CLE Credit)


Family Mediation Forum

The Family Mediation Forum generally meets the first Thursday of each month at the Children's Institute in Squirrel Hill, Room 218, 1405 Shady Ave, Pittsburgh, PA 15217, from October-June. Meetings are from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm in Room 218. 

Upcoming Meetings:

We are now on break for the summer, and will reconvene in September, for the fall.

Beginning in September 2017, through May 2018, we will begin a series called, "Ask the Experts: What Mediators Want to Know."

MCWP Board Meetings

The MCWP Board generally meets on the 3rd Monday of every other month at 5:30 pm. The meetings take place in Leech Tishman's Pittsburgh office-- 525 William Penn Place, Anthony P. Leech Conference Room, 29th Floor, Pittsburgh, PA 15219.
